This long weekend perfectly kicked off a month of travel, fun and music for me. What a double treat to be able to see the splendor of Canada for the first time and spend it with my dear friend Amy. We had such a blast laughing and chatting our way through the Canadian countryside as well as exploring Halifax! She is indeed the hostest with the mostest (while I'm simply the consummate guest ;-)). I spent this weekend walking along the Atlantic coast and the next jogging along the Pacific Ocean. Amazing.

A lighthouse at Peggy's Cove during a lovely drive along the east coast of Nova Scotia. Fortunately there was almost no one at this normally crowded tourist spot so it was inspiring to hear nothing but the ocean crashing against the rocks (and us with giddy laughter which was the order of the day natch ;-)). |
